During the 1992 preparations for the exhibition Images of Hungarian Romany in the 20th Century of the Museum of Ethnography, we have happened upon a recording taken in 1950 in the Hungarian village of Szendrőlád, including images of split-wood baskets from the village. Thanks to their sound structure, they are functional accessories to any household.
